I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (School of Computer Science) at Carnegie Mellon University working with Dr. Jodi Forlizzi, Dr. John Zimmerman and Dr. Aaron Steinfeld. My research is part of the AI-Caring NSF AI Institute that focuses on developing the next generation of personalized collaborative AI systems that improve the quality of life of aging adults living at home.

I earned my Ph.D. in the Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Dr. Andrea Thomaz (Socially Intelligent Machines Lab ). My Ph.D. research enables robots to optimize for task performance and fairness in human-robot teaming. Prior to my Ph.D., I worked as an engineer at NASA-Johnson Space Center. I received my M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and B.S. in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
